Tonix Pharmaceuticals stock halted ahead of FDA approval news
WISeKey International Holding Ltd (WKEY) announced that its subsidiary SEALCOIN AG has integrated SEALCOIN Agent technology into an initial batch of 2,000 Thomson laptops manufactured by Thomson Metavisio.
The deployment will distribute devices across France and other European Union markets, according to the company’s statement. The integration allows laptops to register on blockchain networks and share idle CPU capacity while maintaining normal device operation.
"Each laptop now has the power of registering itself on-chain, tokenizing its identity, and joining a broader network that can securely share and monetize idle CPU capacity," said Carlos Moreira, CEO of WISeKey.
The SEALCOIN Agent operates in the background and was developed with Thomson’s product and security teams to ensure compatibility with Microsoft TPM and device operating systems. Users can activate or explore the technology through a desktop interface.
Thomson Metavisio has expressed interest in extending the technology across future production volumes, with plans for SEALCOIN Agent integration in laptop shipments over the next 18 months.
"We’re proud to be the first OEM enabling users to tap into the decentralized future, starting with real utility, today," said Stéphan Français, CEO of Thomson Metavisio.
SEALCOIN AG focuses on decentralized physical internet technology and operates as a subsidiary of WISeKey, a cybersecurity, blockchain, and IoT company. Thomson Metavisio (FR00140066X4; ticker: ALTHO) is a French company that designs IT technology solutions under the THOMSON brand.
The integration uses Trusted Platform Module hardware to secure device identity registration on blockchain networks. The technology enables devices to contribute computing resources to decentralized networks.
