Renowned lawyer and crypto supporter John E. Deaton has expressed disappointment toward Elizabeth Warren, the U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. Deaton accused Warren of being a selfish politician who only cared about pandering for votes and being in the spotlight.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Deaton referred to a Congressional hearing in the first week of December, when Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan’s CEO, advised the government to “Pull the plug on crypto,” with Warren nodding in approval. During the hearing, Dimon told lawmakers he has always opposed crypto, Bitcoin, etc. According to him, the true use case for crypto and Bitcoin is for criminals, drug trafficking, money laundering, and tax avoidance.

While referencing a portion of the hearing, Deaton noted that Dimon told Warren everything she wanted to hear regarding her war on Bitcoin and crypto right when she introduced her bill to effectively ban cryptocurrency in the United States. He accused the pair of becoming “Bedfellows,” citing how Warren did not probe Dimon on the alleged fraudulent and illicit activities by JPMorgan.

According to Deaton, Warren claims to be for women’s rights, yet she did not inquire about the $290 million settlement for the girls who were raped on Epstein’s Island, facilitated by Dimon’s bank. He further claimed that many Massachusetts electorates now perceive Warren as a selfish politician. Hence, her relatively low rating in the state ahead of the upcoming elections.

Several respondents to Deaton’s post appeared unhappy with the Senator, with one calling on any current Rep to step up and replace Warren as a Senator. According to the respondent, he wants any of the Reps to fill Warren’s “Criminally negligent void” and the crucial question: “Is Mr. Dimon and JPMorgan still facilitating child sex trafficking?”
