Eos Energy announces stock offering to fund convertible note buyback
Investing.com -- President Donald Trump called for the Federal Communications Commission to revoke station licenses for ABC after a reporter asked about his handling of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
"I think the license should be taken away from ABC, because your news is so fake and it’s so wrong, and we have a great commissioner, chairman, who should look at that," Trump said Tuesday during an Oval Office meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The president’s comments came after being asked why he didn’t simply order his administration to release Epstein files if he supported their release.
Trump distanced himself from Epstein in his response, stating: "As far as the Epstein files is, I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert. But I guess I turned out to be right."
This is not the first time Trump has suggested networks should lose broadcasting permissions due to coverage he considers unfair or critical comedy programming.
