South Africa's rand started the week firmer against the
dollar, recovering some ground on Monday after steep losses
last week although a number of economic data releases in the

The Kenyan shilling KES= firmed against the dollar on
Monday supported by inflows from diaspora remittances amid
thin demand from merchandise importers, traders

shillings ($26 million) over five years and cancel debt to
resolve a dispute over ownership of its Airtel Tanzania
