After-Hours Stock Movers:
Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) rose 4% after it reported strong second quarter results and guidance, as ad impressions delivered across its apps increased by 10% year-over-year.
Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) rose 6.5% after it published quarterly results that beat estimates on the top and bottom line. It also issued impressive EPS guidance. Management said third quarter results reflect strong execution of its growth and diversification strategy.
Western Digital (NASDAQ:WDC) fell 4.3% despite beating estimates for second quarter EPS, as guidance trailed consensus estimates.
Teladoc (NYSE:TDOC) fell 12% after second quarter revenue missed estimates. Teladoc now sees its full year 2024 revenue growth percentage (year-over-year) low single digits to mid-single digits.
Carvana (CVNA) rose 15% after reporting strong revenue and operating profit in the second quarter. Results demonstrate the differentiated strength of its customer offering and business model, management said.
