Amazon's founder (NASDAQ:AMZN) Jeff Bezos continues selling some of his shares in the e-commerce giant, having disposed of additional $2B+ worth of stock, according to the latest filing with the SEC.
In a filing dated February 9th, AMZN former CEO disclosed aggregate sales of 11,997,698 shares, across 9 different transactions with an aggregate value of $2.08B.
The news follows a similar move reported late last week: in a filing dated February 7th, Bezos disclosed he had sold the same number of shares in 5 tranches, for total proceeds of around $2.04B. In a separate filing at the time, he announced a proposed sales of up to 50M Amazon shares over the next 12 months.
He remains the company's top shareholders with a position of 964M shares, following the current sale.
