LAGOS, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Nigerian stocks dropped to a
two-and-half year low in late Thursday trade as consumer shares
led by Nestle NESTLE.LG sank.
The main stock index was down 0.89% to 27,072 points after
it fell nearly 3% earlier. The index of Nigeria's top 10
consumer stocks .NGSEFBT10 dropped 5.42% as Nestle shed 9.99%
and Dangote Cement DANCEM.LG , Nigeria's biggest listed firm,
fell 0.2%.
