Investing.com -- Raspberry Pi Holdings PLC (LON:RPI) announced Friday that Chief Financial Officer Richard Boult plans to step down from his role in the second half of 2026.

Boult, who joined the low-cost computing company in 2019, has informed the board of his intention to explore new challenges after seven years with the firm, including two years following its listing on the London Stock Exchange.

The company has initiated a formal search process for his replacement, with Boult committed to assisting in the transition to ensure an orderly succession.

Martin Hellawell, Chair of Raspberry Pi, praised Boult’s contributions, noting his central role in establishing relationships with key strategic and financial shareholders, as well as banking partners that were crucial to the company’s admission to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in June 2024.

CEO Eben Upton highlighted Boult’s instrumental role in building a mature finance function at the company, adding that his "deep insights and experience were key to our successful IPO."

Boult expressed pride in his time at Raspberry Pi, stating: "It has been an amazing experience, and I am proud to have been part of everything that Raspberry Pi has achieved since I joined in 2019."

Cambridge-based Raspberry Pi describes itself as a leader in low-cost, high-performance computing with full-stack engineering capabilities spanning semiconductor IP development through to software engineering. The company has sold over 70 million units of its products to date across industrial, educational, and semiconductor markets.
