Gold prices dip as hawkish Fed minutes weigh ahead of Jackson Hole
Urbana Corporation (URB, URB.A) announced that Miami International Holdings Inc. completed an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker MIAX.
MIAX shares began trading on August 14, 2025, following the pricing of the IPO at $23.00 per share. The company raised $396.75 million through the offering of 15 million shares and an additional 2.25 million shares through the underwriter’s over-allotment option. MIAX shares closed at $31.12 on August 15, 2025.
Urbana owns 663,810 MIAX shares with an acquisition cost of CAD$12.3 million. The market value of these shares was approximately CAD$28.5 million at the close of trading on August 15, representing an unrealized gain of approximately CAD$16.2 million.
Urbana was previously a member seatholder of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange and a shareholder of the Bermuda Stock Exchange, two exchange properties that MIAX acquired for its network.
