iShares Treasury ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Investment Management (Australia) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Australia. It invests in Australian Dollar denominated, fixed-rate treasury securities issued by the government with a maturity of less than 50 years. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as between AAA and BBB by S&P. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg AusBond Treasury Index, by investing in the securities as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares UBS Treasury ETF. iShares Treasury ETF was formed on March 12, 2012 and is domiciled in Australia.
