Purpose Core Equity Income Fund is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Purpose Investments Inc. It invests in public equity markets of Canada. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of large-cap companies. It invests in dividend paying stocks of companies. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. It employs fundamental analysis to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the S&P/TSX Composite Total Return Index. It does not invest in stocks of companies operating across tobacco, private prison owners, operators, and providers of integral services, civilian firearm manufacturers, fossil fuels, manufacturers of controversial weapons or components sectors.
