Biography Adam joins Mercer as Senior Portfolio Manager, Equities on April 1st, after joining the BT Investment Solutions team in June 2018 as a Portfolio Analyst within the Equities Team. Promoted to Assistant Portfolio Manager in October 2020, Adam worked closely supporting the Head of Equities on the day-to-day management of the Mercer Australia, International Equities and Emerging Market Equities strategies, including risk management, manager rebalancing and daily oversight of investment managers. He’s responsible for contributing to manager research, portfolio construction and the on-going monitoring of these strategies. Prior to joining Mercer, Adam was a Senior Research Analyst at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, focusing on multiple asset classes and was the sector lead for Australian Equities, assisting in the construction and monitoring of the Model Portfolios and the Approved Product List. Earlier in his career Adam held roles including that of a Research Analyst at a boutique financial planning firm and an Economic Analyst at the ACT Treasury. Adam has a Bachelor of Economics (University of Sydney) and is a CFA Charter holder.

Biography Shannon Reilly is a Principal in Mercer’s Investments business, based in Melbourne. Shannon is responsible for the management and oversight of Mercer’s domestic and global equity portfolios including all manager selection and portfolio construction decisions. Prior to this role, Shannon supported the senior members of the Investment Management team as a senior analyst, focusing on the management of Mercer’s equities portfolios and leading the development of Mercer’s Investment Risk Management function. Prior to joining Mercer in January 2012, Shannon spent three years at the Department of Planning and Community Development as a project officer and community infrastructure grants program coordinator. Shannon holds a Master of Finance from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, and a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University of Technology.
