Biography Effective 1 Oct 2022, Casey McLean took over from Kate Howitt as Portfolio Manager. McLean brings experience in analysing and managing Australian equities initially and then mostly Asia equities in the latter half of his career so far. He joined Fidelity in July 2015 as an analyst in Hong Kong covering regional energy and regional technology hardware and semiconductors, before rising to comanager of the China Innovations Fund in 2020. Prior to joining Fidelity, Clare was a Senior Investment Analyst at First State Super covering the TMT, Gaming & Consumer sectors and Clare has also held investment banking & equities research analyst roles at Morgan Stanley & Merrill Lynch covering Oil & Gas, Resources and REITs. Biography Kate is a portfolio manager in Fidelity's highly successful Australian equities investment team. She was promoted to the position in 2007 to manage Australian-benchmarked portfolios. Kate was previously a research analyst for three years covering banks, insurers and diversified financials. Prior to that she was an analyst / portfolio manager with AMP Capital for the AMP Value Plus Fund covering financials, food and retail.Kate was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group in Sydney before she started her career in funds management.
