He joined the company in 1999 as an investment analyst and had served as an assistant portfolio manager for Ivy VIP Core Equity since 2003. Biography Gus Zinn is a Senior Vice President of Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company and Ivy Investment Management Company. Mr. Zinn joined Waddell & Reed in June 1998 as an investment analyst. He was named assistant vice president in January 2002. He assumed assistant portfolio manager responsibilities in July 2003 of the Waddell & Reed Advisors Science & Technology Fund, Ivy Funds VIP Science & Technology, and Ivy Science & Technology Fund. He was appointed vice president in January 2004. He was named co-portfolio manager of the Ivy Core, and appointed to be Senior Vice President in 2009.

Biography Prior to joining the company, he was a finished-products distribution manager with Proctor and Gamble Paper Products. Previously, he spent five years with the U.S. Army. Wineland holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Biography Thompson joined Waddell & Reed in 1971 as a senior investment analyst, and became a portfolio manager in 1974. He previously spent three years as a senior investment analyst for National Bank of Detroit. Thompson is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research, and a member and past president of the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts.
