Biography | Mike joined Mairs & Power as Vice President and Investment Manager in December 2021, and was added to the Small Cap Fund as co-manager in January 2022 and became lead manager of the Small Cap Fund in July 2023. In addition to Mike’s responsibilities of equity research and portfolio management on the Small Cap Fund, Mike handles the day-to-day management of the firm’s equity analysts. In his roles, Mike is responsible for conducting equity research, buying and selling securities on a day-to-day basis, portfolio monitoring, performance measurement and regulatory and client reporting. He also provides financial advice and services to private and corporate clients involving a range of investment matters. He has 37 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Mairs & Power, Mike was Vice President of Research and Investment Management with Sit Investment Associates, where he provided fundamental research on companies in the Technology and Financial Services sectors. Previously, Mike was a portfolio manager at Ameriprise/Columbia Asset Management where he had the opportunity to work on a variety of products, including small, mid, and large cap stocks in the Technology, Consumer, Financial Services, and Industrials sectors. Mike earned his BS in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas. He has passed the CFA Level 2 exam and is studying to take Level 3. Mike grew up in St. Paul, where he also went to college, began his career, and met his wife, Nerissa. Mike and Nerissa have three grown children—Tommy who graduated from college, Megan who is in college, and Leo who began college in the fall of 2022. Mike’s family enjoys time together and with friends, at home and at the lake. He likes to run, cycle, swim, and sail. His family also competes in triathlons, including most recently the 2021 IRONMAN Wisconsin, in which he participated with his wife, Nerissa, and their son, Tommy. | ||

Biography | Chris began his career with Mairs & Power as an Equity Research Analyst, before being promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2018. In 2021, he was promoted to Investment Manager, as well as named co-manager of the Small Cap Fund. He joined the firm after seven years as an Analyst with Zuckerman Investment Group in Chicago. Previously, Chris worked at Wells Fargo Investments and as an Equity Business Analyst with Riversource Investments (Ameriprise), both in Minneapolis. Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA - Applied Security Analysis. He is a CFA charterholder. | ||

Biography | As the firm's Chief Investment Officer, Andy implements overall investment policy, directs portfolio management, research, trading, investment strategy and risk management functions and has oversight responsibility for the equity research staff. Following an internship with Madison Investment Advisors, Andy began his career in 1997 with Advantus Capital Management where he served as an investment officer. In 2003, he joined U.S. Bancorp Asset Management in Minneapolis where he co-managed a small cap blend mutual fund. Andy earned a BBA in finance and mathematics and an MS degree in finance. | ||

Biography | Allen D. Steinkopf joined Mairs and Power, Inc. in 2013 as Vice President and Investment Manager. Effective January 1, 2015, Mr. Steinkopf was named co‐manager. Mr. Steinkopf began his career as a research analyst with MIMLIC Asset Management and later with an independent subsidiary of MIMLIC. He started at Advantus as assistant portfolio manager and senior analyst and eventually became co‐manager of the Advantus Large Cap Growth Portfolio and the Advantus Balanced Fund. In 2003 he joined US Bank/FAF Advisors, which later became Nuveen Investments. With Nuveen, Mr. Steinkopf was Senior Manager of Small Cap Equity. Mr. Steinkopf earned BA (Mathematics) and BBA (Finance) degrees from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and an MBA‐Finance degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the Association of Investment Management Research and the Twin Cities Society of Security Analysts. |
