LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - An overhang of Angolan cargoes
for loading in August is gradually clearing, traders said on
Thursday, while demand looked subdued for September-loading
cargoes.
ANGOLA
* About 5-7 cargoes were left from the August loading
programme, down from nine estimated on Wednesday.
* Eni ENI.MI has sold its August-loading cargo of
Olombendo, last offered at dated Brent plus $1.35. BP BP.L is
expected to take its August cargo of Cabinda, last offered at
dated Brent plus $1.80, into its own refining system.
* Trading of September-loading cargoes appears to have made
a slow start. Sonangol is offering four on a spot basis at
unchanged premiums from Wednesday, as follows:
Dalia, loading Sept. 19-20, at dated Brent plus $2.10
Gindungo, Sept. 16-17, at dated Brent plus $1.50.
Cabinda, September-loading, at dated Brent plus $2.30
Girassol, September-loading, at dated Brent plus $2.60.
NIGERIA
* Bonny Light and Qua Iboe were being offered at about dated
Brent plus 90 cents to plus $1.00, in line with indications
heard on Wednesday.
* Ample supply of August-loading cargoes and new September
programmes are weighing on values.
