Gold prices tick higher on fresh U.S. tariff threats, Fed rate cut hopes
Investing.com -- InPost has acquired Sending, a family-owned parcel delivery and fulfillment services provider in Spain, bolstering its logistics capabilities in the Iberian market.
The acquisition will allow InPost to integrate Sending’s to-door delivery services with its existing network of automated parcel machines (APMs) and pick-up drop-off (PUDO) points across Spain.
InPost currently operates 3,000 APMs in Iberia alongside 9,000 PUDO points as of the end of the first half of 2025. The company plans to add another 1,000 APMs by year-end.
This strategic move follows InPost’s previous acquisitions of Mondial Relay in France, and Menzies and Yodel in the UK. These earlier purchases provided InPost with access to volume and parcel logistics networks that supported the expansion of its out-of-home APM networks.
While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Sending is understood to rank just outside the top five parcel delivery companies in Spain. The Spanish market leaders include Correos, DHL, Fedex, DPD, and Logista (BME:LOG), in what remains a relatively fragmented market.
