Steve Norris joins Tellus Power Globe board as non-executive director

IRVINE, Calif. - Electric vehicle charging solutions provider Tellus Power Globe Holding Limited announced Tuesday the appointment of former UK Transport Minister Steve Norris to its board of directors as a non-executive director.

Norris, who brings over four decades of experience in government, infrastructure, and transport sectors, will support the company’s expansion efforts across European and international markets.

"Mr. Norris’s exceptional experience and relationships across the transport and energy sectors will strengthen our Board as we advance our mission to deliver global markets world-class electrification solutions," said Mike Calise, Tellus Power’s Chief Executive Officer, in a press release statement.

The former Member of Parliament currently serves as Chair of the Council of the National Infrastructure Planning Association, President of Intelligent Transport Systems UK, and Chairman at both Soho Estates and Evtec Automotive. He previously held a board position at Cubic Corporation Inc until its acquisition in 2021.

Tellus Power, which manufactures electric vehicle chargers, is focusing on technologies including vehicle-to-everything (V2X), vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems, smart charging, and grid-integrated infrastructure.

"I’m delighted to join the Board of Tellus Power at such a pivotal moment," Norris said. "Their leadership in vehicle-to-everything, vehicle-to-grid, and advanced charging technologies represents exactly the kind of practical innovation needed to support electrification at scale."

The appointment comes as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its global governance framework and support initiatives in transport electrification and infrastructure development.
