TotalEnergies partners with Emerson to enhance industrial data use

PARIS - TotalEnergies (EPA:TTEF) (Paris:TTE) (LSE:TTE) (NYSE:TTE) and Emerson (NYSE:EMR) have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to implement industrial data collection solutions across TotalEnergies’ operational sites worldwide, according to a press release issued Tuesday.

The collaboration will involve deploying Emerson’s AspenTech Inmation™ technology to continuously collect and centralize millions of real-time data points from TotalEnergies’ facilities. This industrial data fabric will provide secure and unified access to data across the organization.

The two-year rollout aims to enhance decision-making through artificial intelligence applications and optimize operational efficiency, energy use, and environmental performance at TotalEnergies’ sites globally.

The digital infrastructure, which includes Emerson’s advanced process control solutions, is designed to accelerate anomaly detection, optimize energy consumption, enhance operational safety, and speed up AI integration into industrial processes.

"At TotalEnergies, digital technology is a key enabler of our transformation toward a more sustainable and efficient energy future," said Namita Shah, President of OneTech at TotalEnergies.

Vincent Servello, President of Emerson’s Aspen Technology (NASDAQ:AZPN) business, noted that the companies have worked together for almost 30 years, adding that "the powerful combination of AI and our industrial data fabric solution will serve to accelerate TotalEnergies’ mission."

The collaboration represents an extension of the companies’ existing relationship, with the new initiative focused on leveraging industrial data to improve operational performance across TotalEnergies’ global operations.
