Yaccarino highlighted achievements during her tenure, including what she described as a "historic business turnaround" and prioritizing user safety, particularly for children, while restoring advertiser confidence.
She mentioned several platform innovations implemented under her leadership, including Community Notes and the upcoming X Money feature.
Yaccarino indicated that X will be entering "a new chapter" with @xai, though she did not elaborate on specific details about this transition or the future direction of the company.
The outgoing CEO described X as "a digital town square for all voices and the world’s most powerful culture signal" and expressed confidence in the platform’s future success.
Yaccarino did not reveal her future plans in the announcement, only stating that she would continue to be active on the platform.
