Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson dismissed rumors regarding the abandonment of Cardano’s layer 2 scaling solution, Hydra. In a recent X post, Hoskinson addressed the critics’ claims against the development of Hydra, dispelling them as mere FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt).

On March 16, Hoskinson took to X to share clarity on the blockchain’s efforts to bring advancements to the project. He added that the circulating videos on the failure of the project are misleading rumors. He cited, “The team has never been more productive and motivated, there is great community engagement and new papers on the way for enhancements to the protocol.”

In response, Hoskinson received a flurry of crucial questions regarding Cardano’s developments, including its partnership with the Fortune 250 company DISH, projects in Ethiopia and Africa, etc. The post by the X user known as Atom read,

“When DISH? When erc20 convertor? When Ethiopia? When anything in Africa? When Mongolia partnership? When everything you’ve said.”

Hoskinson shared a clear picture of the ongoing developments in Cardano, reiterating the blockchain’s commitment to further establish the network worldwide. He asserted that their pursuit of expanding to Africa continues with the assistance of John O’Connor, the CEO of RealFi. In addition, they have trained developers in Mongolia to fulfill their partnership. Further, Hoskinson asserted that Cardano has concluded pilots with all the entities mentioned by Atom.

Recently, Hoskinson announced Cardano’s plans to integrate Hyperledger Firefly, a multi-party system for enterprise data flows. As per Hoskinson’s revelation, Cardano’s collaboration with Blockfrost will integrate Hyperledger Firefly to assess its suitability for Cardano Stake Pool Operators (SPOs).
