  • BTC, APE and BLUR saw their prices increase over the past 24 hours of trading.
  • On the other hand, BIGTIME experienced a more than 22% retracement after its price rose 250% in the past week.
  • APE managed a 9+% recovery despite hitting its all-time low price just a few days ago.

Over the past 24 hours, the price of the market leader, Bitcoin (BTC), was able to hold steady while Apecoin (APE) and Blur (BLUR) printed gains. On the other hand, Big Time (BIGTIME) took a massive hit over the same time period.

Bitcoin (BTC)

Throughout the past day, BTC was able to maintain its position above $28K. The market tracking website, CoinMarketCap, indicated that the cryptocurrency king was trading at about $28,560.05 at press time after its price rose by 0.14%.

Things were looking good for BTC over the longer time frames as well as its price rose by over 5% in the past week. Additionally, BTC’s price was in the green by 6.69% on its monthly time frame as well.

Apecoin (APE)

Over the past week, the price of APE has experienced heightened fluctuations, dropping below the crucial $1 threshold for the first time since its inception in March of 2022. APE reached its lowest point on 9 October this year, hitting $0.993. It has since then shown resilience by recovering, achieving a 9+% price increase during this week.

At press time, the meme coin was worth about $1.12 after its price jumped 2.33%. This meant that the altcoin was trading just below its 24 hour peak price of $1.13. APE’s intraday trading volume also surged 120.47% since yesterday, which left it standing at $83,923,527.

Blur (BLUR)

BLUR’s price managed a 8.81% surge throughout the past day, which pushed the token’s trading value up to $0.1808. In addition to this, the altcoin’s 24 hour success boosted its weekly performance up by 14.63%.

BLUR’s resilience was highlighted by the fact that its price rise was able to happen despite Yuga Labs leading a boycott of Blur and OpenSea. The creators of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs and LSLTTT Holdings are limiting the trading of specific NFTs, excluding ones from popular platforms like OpenSea and Blur.

Big Time (BIGTIME)

BIGTIME is on the other end of the spectrum today after its price slipped by more than 22% in just the past 24 hours of trading. Consequently, the token was trading hands at $0.1668, which was close to its daily low price of $0.1474. BIGTIME’s 24 hour trading volume, however, climbed by 40+%, and as a result stood at $68,061,915.

This knock in BIGTIME’s value comes mere days after its price surged by 250% following the announcement that trading firms Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) and OKX will throw their weight behind the new token. This news caused the cryptocurrency’s price to reach a peak of $0.341.
