DevvStream Corp. (DEVS) announced the initial composition of its cryptocurrency treasury portfolio, which includes Bitcoin, Solana, and its own digital asset DevvE. The carbon management firm appointed BitGo Trust Company as custodian and FRNT Financial Inc as digital treasury consultant for the portfolio.

The Calgary-based company selected Bitcoin as what it terms the foundational asset for security and market liquidity. Solana was chosen for transaction speed and ecosystem scale, while DevvE represents the company’s programmable digital asset combining decentralized finance innovation with traditional finance security requirements.

"Our treasury model isn’t just about holding crypto. It’s about aligning capital with our mission," said Sunny Trinh, CEO of DevvStream. "Our mix of assets is designed to deliver institutional-grade efficiency and income, while bridging to sustainability tokenization and real-world asset integration."

DevvStream stated it plans to expand its digital asset portfolio as part of its strategy to fund sustainable infrastructure and tokenize environmental assets. The company describes its approach as combining institutional-grade liquidity with exposure to programmable sustainability, with real-world asset tokenization as a core investment thesis.

Founded in 2021, DevvStream operates in carbon management through three domains: an offset portfolio of nature-based and tech-based carbon credits, project investment and acquisitions, and project development services for activities such as electric vehicle charging and renewable energy generation.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
