TPI Composites files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, plans delisting from Nasdaq
Oblong Inc. (OBLG) reported second-quarter 2025 financial results and announced an expansion of its TAO token holdings to support its digital asset treasury strategy focused on Bittensor’s decentralized AI network.
The company held 21,613 TAO tokens valued at approximately $8 million as of the reporting date, all of which are staked in the Bittensor network to generate revenue. During the second quarter, Oblong invested $1.7 million to acquire 5,025 TAO tokens. Following the quarter’s end, the company purchased an additional 16,506 tokens for $6.35 million.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2025, Oblong reported revenue of $592,000, consistent with the same period in 2024. The company posted a net loss of $605,000, an improvement from the $983,000 loss in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted EBITDA loss was $683,000, compared to $987,000 in Q2 2024.
The company’s financial position included $10.8 million in cash and cash equivalents and $1.7 million in digital asset holdings as of June 30, 2025, with zero debt. Oblong raised $6.9 million through a private placement and received $1.3 million from warrant exercises during the quarter, with an additional $900,000 from warrant exercises after the quarter ended.
For the six-month period, Oblong generated $1.2 million in revenue compared to $1.2 million in the prior year. The net loss for the six months was $1.3 million, compared to $2.1 million in 2024.
