RLB Jumps 15% After Large Purchases by Whales: On-Chain Data

  • According to Lookonchain, 20.3 million RLB was purchased by these 4 whales over the past 2 days.
  • Meanwhile, a SmartMoney investor was able to profit from these purchases after selling 5 million RLB.

Lookonchain, the on-chain tracking platform, revealed in an X post that the price of Rollbit Coin (RLB) jumped 15% today. Subsequently, the altcoin was able to reach a new all-time high (ATH). According to the post, the cryptocurrency’s substantial increase in price may be linked to 4 whales who purchased several millions worth of RLB in the past 2 days.

On-chain data revealed that the 4 whales in question purchased 20.3 million RLB. The collective value of these purchases is estimated to be $4.14 million. In another post, Lookonchain revealed the addresses of the 4 whales.

The biggest purchase was performed by an X user 9x9x9, and saw 11.28 million RLB, worth $2.22 million, purchased. According to Lookonchain, this purchase was made using 1,230 Ethereum (ETH).

The whale address 0xeE8A spent 327 ETH to purchase 2.92 million RLB at a purchase price of $0.203. Meanwhile, the whale addresses 0xF07F and 0xAa0E purchased 3.45 million and 2.64 million RLB respectively.

Whale 0xF07F spent 400 ETH, valued at $726K, to buy RLB at an average purchase price of $0.21. 0xAa0E on the other hand, used 170 ETH and 287K Liquidity USD (LUSD) to make its RLB purchase at $0.224.

A SmartMoney investor seems to have profited from the recent purchases by these large whales. In another post, Lookonchain revealed that this particular savvy investor sold 5 million RLB for 614 ETH at $0.22. The address then added 4 million RLB liquidity to Uniswap to earn trading fees in the past few hours.

According to the post, the SmartMoney investor bought 23 million RLB at an average price of $0.068 between 5 July and 26 September this year. Currently, this investor’s profit is around $3.5 million.
