Skycorp Solar Group Limited (PN) announced it will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments for international transactions starting August 1, 2025. The solar cable and connector manufacturer will accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins USDC and USDT.
The company plans to allocate portions of cash reserves and renewable energy project returns to strategic Ethereum acquisitions as part of a digital asset treasury management program, according to a press release statement.
"By integrating green energy, AI and ETH-based blockchain solutions, the Company is innovating for a sustainable future," said Weiqi Huang, Chairman and CEO. Huang cited the GENIUS Act as establishing regulatory foundation for stablecoins.
Digital currency payments will be processed through licensed providers specializing in blockchain forensics to ensure regulatory compliance with frameworks established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Financial Action Task Force.
Skycorp Solar Group Limited manufactures and sells solar photovoltaic products through subsidiaries including Ningbo Skycorp Solar Co., Ltd. in China. The company operates in the solar cable and connector market segment.
