The decline was the largest among all nations or territories, with a 41% year-on-year (y/y) decrease, bringing the total to 10,105 EVs.

Asia was the leading importer of China’s EVs, receiving 47,960 vehicles, a slight 2.7% y/y decrease.

Europe followed, importing 28,866 EVs, marking a substantial 30% y/y decline. Latin America and the Caribbean received 12,097 EVs, a minor 0.3% y/y decrease.

The data also revealed a marked decrease in China’s EV exports to the European Union. The number fell by 41% y/y, totaling 18,907 EVs.
