Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading slightly higher during Tuesday's evening deals, following a mixed session for major benchmark averages as investors turned focus toward upcoming corporate earnings reports from companies including Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA).
By 18:50 ET (22:50 GMT), Dow Jones futures, S&P 500 futures, and Nasdaq 100 futures were each trading 0.1% higher.
In extended trade, Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) added 5.3%, reporting Q2 EPS of $1.10 versus $0.89 expected on revenues of $1.27 billion versus $1.25B expected.
La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE:LZB) eased 3.3% after the company reported Q1 EPS of $0.62 versus $0.54 expected, while revenues were reported at $482 million versus $476.2M expected.
Toll Brothers (NYSE:TOL) ticked up 0.6% after reporting Q3 EPS of $3.73 versus $2.84 expected on revenues of $2.69B versus $2.4B expected.
Ahead in Wednesday's trade, market participants will be closely monitoring building permits, new home sales, as well as manufacturing and services PMIs.
Among earnings, companies including Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA), Snowflake Inc (NYSE:SNOW), Autodesk Inc (NASDAQ:ADSK), Kohl’s Corp (NYSE:KSS), Peloton Interactive Inc (NASDAQ:PTON), Foot Locker Inc (NYSE:FL), and Abercrombie & Fitch Company (NYSE:ANF) are expected to deliver quarterly results.
During Tuesday's regular trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 174.9 points or 0.5% to 34,288.8, the S&P 500 lost 12.2 points or 0.3% to 4,387.6, and the Nasdaq Composite eked out a small gain of 8.3 points or 0.1% to finish at 13,505.9.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates lifted to fresh 15-year highs of 4.332%.
