China’s Xi speaks with Trump by phone, discusses Taiwan and bilateral ties
Investing.com -- Eleos Life is set to launch a new AI-powered voice agent designed to provide customers with round-the-clock assistance and streamline access to key insurance services, Investing.com has learned.
The company, a digital provider of embedded term life insurance, disability insurance, and income protection, believes the move, set to be announced later today, will provide users with immediate answers drawn directly from Eleos policy documents.
Customers will be able to use the voice agent to get general information, update policy coverage, cancel policies, review claims details, or submit feedback to help improve the service.
The tool can also place outbound calls to prospective customers, guiding them toward more informed insurance decisions.
However, the rollout will not replace the company’s traditional human customer service representatives; those who prefer human support will still be able to reach them by phone, email, or WhatsApp.
The launch is the latest step in Eleos Life’s expanding investment in artificial intelligence.
Earlier this year, the insurer introduced Theea, an intelligent chatbot used to walk applicants through insurance forms and customized coverage calculations.
The new voice agent further broadens accessibility for individuals who may find reading online content or composing emails difficult.
Eleos Life operates in the U.S. and U.K., partnering with brands to offer policies through their digital platforms. In 2024, Eleos raised £3.25 million in a seed round led by Fuel Ventures and Indico Capital.
