Investing.com-- Stellantis (BIT:STLAM) said on Tuesday it will adopt Tesla’s (NASDAQ:TSLA) charging systems for select battery-electric vehicles starting in 2026, expanding fast-charging access for customers in North America, Japan, and South Korea.

The adoption of the North American Charging System (NACS)  will give upcoming Stellantis models access to more than 28,000 Tesla Superchargers across the five markets, the company said in a statement.

Initial integration in North America will begin early in 2026, covering existing BEVs such as the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona, followed by new models including the 2026 Jeep Recon.

Stellantis said access in Japan and South Korea will follow in 2027. The company plans to release details on adapters and compatibility for current models at a later date.
