It invests in the public equity and fixed income markets of the United States. For its equity portion, it invests directly, through derivatives and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the event-driven/arbitrage stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It employs long/shore strategy and uses derivatives such as options, futures, warrants and forwards to create its portfolio. For its fixed income portion, it invests directly, through derivatives, through MLPs and through other funds in investment grade, high yield, and municipal convertible securities, bonds and debentures issued by corporations, governments or public international bodies. The fund employs fundamental and quantitative analysis to create its portfolios.
