It invests in stocks of companies operating across utilities, independent power and renewable electricity producers, renewable electricity, alternative energy resources, biofuels, fuel cells, electric power by solar energy, electric power by wind energy, hydroelectric power generation, geothermal energy, biomass, tidal/wave energy, clean technologies, including electric vehicles, energy storage, lithium, fuel cell, smart grid, and energy efficiency technologies and other emerging clean energy activities and technologies sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in stocks of companies that directly promote environmental responsibility. It seeks to track the performance of the CIBC Atlas Clean Energy Select Index. CIBC Clean Energy Index ETF was formed on November 16, 2021 and is domiciled in Canada.
