The fund is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. It invests in public equity markets of Europe. The fund takes short position and uses derivatives such as swap agreements to invest in stocks of companies operating in the telecommunication sector. It invests in stocks of large cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the inverse of the daily performance of the STOXX Europe 600 Telecommunications Index, by using synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as db x-trackers - STOXX Europe 600 Telecommunications Short Daily ETF. db x-trackers - STOXX Europe 600 Telecommunications Short Daily UCITS ETF was formed on February 4, 2008 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
