It is co-managed by BlackRock Financial Management Inc., BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, and BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of emerging countries in Asia, including China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, and Thailand. It invests in local currency denominated, fixed-rate government bonds with any credit rating and with a maturity of more than two years. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Emerging Markets Asia Local Currency Govt Country Capped Index, by employing representative sampling methodology.
