Russell Investments Global Equity Pool is an open ended equity mutual fund launched by Russell Investments Canada Limited. The fund is co-managed by MFS Institutional Advisers, Inc., Harris Associates L.P., Numeric Investors LLC, Russell Implementation Services Inc., Sanders Capital, LLC, Sustainable Growth Advisers, LP, and Wellington Management Company LLP. It invests in public equity markets across the globe excluding Canada. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sector. It invests in growth, value, and growth oriented value stocks of small cap companies. The fund employs a combination of fundamental, qualitative, and quantitative analysis with a focus on factors such as interest rates, inflation, monetary policy and demographic trends, market-share position, excellent management teams, improving profit margins, solid balance sheets, and free cash-flow generation etc. to create its portfolio. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the MSCI World ex-Canada Index and the MSCI World Index. The fund was formerly known as Russell Sovereign Investment Program - Russell Global Equity Pool. Russell Investments Global Equity Pool was formed on January 22, 1998 is domiciled in Canada.
