It is co-managed by SSGA Funds Management, Inc. and DoubleLine Capital LP. The fund invests in fixed income markets of global emerging region. It invests in fixed income securities issued or guaranteed by foreign corporations and foreign governments, including securities issued or guaranteed by companies including foreign hybrid securities, financial institutions and government entities, corporate or government bonds, sovereign debt, structured securities, zero coupon bonds, credit-linked notes, pass through notes, bank loans and perpetual maturity bonds. The fund invests in securities with a weighted average effective duration of no less than two years and no more than eight years. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the JP Morgan Corporate Emerging Market Bond Index Broad Diversified and the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Bond Index.
