SPDR Series Trust - SPDR Portfolio Mortgage Backed Bond ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by State Street Global Advisors, Inc. It is managed by SSGA Funds Management, Inc. The fund invests in the fixed-income markets of the United States. It seeks to invest in U.S. dollar denominated fixed rate investment grade mortgage-backed securities issued by agencies with a weighted average maturity of at least one year. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg U.S. MBS Index, by using representative sampling technique.
