It invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund invests directly and also through derivatives in US Dollar denominated, fixed-rate treasury bonds with maturity between 7 and 10 years. It invests in the investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Capital US 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Index (Total Return), by investing in the securities as per their weightings in the index.
