Procore signs multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS
Investing.com -- The head of Denmark’s Arctic command is not worried about the possibility of a U.S. takeover of Greenland, following discussions with a senior U.S. general last week.
Soren Andersen, who leads Denmark’s Joint Arctic Command, told Reuters that such a scenario "is absolutely not on my mind" and added, "I sleep perfectly well at night." His comments came shortly after what he described as his first meeting with the general responsible for U.S. defense in the Arctic region.
"Militarily, we work together, as we always have," Andersen stated, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation between the two nations.
U.S. President Donald Trump has made multiple suggestions about the United States potentially acquiring Greenland, a large semi-autonomous Danish territory. Greenland occupies a strategically important position on the shortest route between North America and Europe and plays a vital role in the U.S. ballistic missile warning system.
