S&P 500 rises as health care, tech gain to overshadow Fed independence concerns
Investing.com -- Ukraine and Russia, during discussions set to take place in Istanbul next Monday, have agreed to exchange lists of individuals intended for a proposed prisoner of war (POW) exchange, as stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
In an online news briefing, Zelenskiy disclosed that both countries’ negotiators have consented to swap 1,000 POWs each, with an additional 200 POWs potentially included in the exchange. He added that a mutual agreement was reached to return the remains of deceased service personnel, though this process would require meticulous planning.
The Ukrainian President also mentioned that Ukrainian negotiators presented a list of almost 400 children whom Ukraine wishes Russia to return. However, the Russian delegation agreed to cooperate on the return of only 10 children.
Zelenskiy also referred to a Ukrainian intelligence operation, codenamed "Spider’s Web", which took place on Sunday. During this operation, drones hidden inside wooden sheds were used to attack Russian military airfields. The operation, he said, has bolstered partners’ confidence in Ukraine’s ability to persist in its conflict against Russia’s invasion.
