Asia FX rises; US-Japan trade deal boosts yen, won to 2-week highs

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG) fell 4% after it reported comp sales that missed estimates in the first quarter. Comparable restaurant sales decreased 0.4%
IBM (NYSE:IBM) fell 4.8% despite beating estimates in the first quarter, after it maintained full year guidance. Revenue of $14.5 billion was up 1 percent, up 2 percent at constant currency.
ServiceNow (NYSE:NOW) rose 9% after it topped estimates and issued strong guidance for the year. ServiceNow exceeded guidance across all Q1 2025 topline growth and profitability metrics.
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) rose 5% after beating estimates and raising guidance. Texas Instruments reported Q1 EPS of $1.28, $0.22 better than the analyst estimate of $1.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.07 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.91 billion.
Lam Research (NASDAQ:LRCX) rose 4% after beating estimates across the board and boosting guidance. Lam Research sees Q4 2025 EPS of $1.10-$1.30, versus the consensus of $0.98. Lam Research sees Q4 2025 revenue of $4.7-5.3 billion, versus the consensus of $4.59 billion
Whirlpool (NYSE:WHR) rose 5% it reported results that weren’t as bad as feared. Whirlpool sees FY2025 EPS of $10.00, versus the consensus of $9.98.
