Investing.com -- Boeing (NYSE:BA) Commercial Airplanes head Stephanie Pope met with Air India Chairman N. Chandrasekaran on Monday in India, according to a Reuters report on Monday.

The meeting took place at Air India’s headquarters in Gurugram, near New Delhi airport. Pope was accompanied by Boeing’s India President Salil Gupte during the discussions.

The meeting comes as both companies work to determine the cause of last week’s fatal crash involving a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The Air India plane, which was London-bound, crashed in the Indian city of Ahmedabad seconds after take-off. The accident resulted in 241 fatalities, with only one survivor among the 242 people on board.

Details of what was discussed during the meeting were not immediately available.
