In the updated third quarter forecast, Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) anticipates adjusted EPS in the range of $1.85 to $2.05. This marks a revision from the previously guided range of $2.20 to $2.50 per share, while consensus stood at $2.32.
For the full year, Air maintains its projection for adjusted EPS to be between $6 and $7. The consensus estimate for full-year adjusted EPS stood at $6.58.
Delta Air also foresees a capacity growth of 16% for Q3, while the expected fuel price per gallon is estimated to be in the range of $2.75 to $2.90.
The company has adjusted its guidance for total revenue to now fall within the upper half of the previously forecasted +11-14% range.
DAL stock rose 2.2% on the news.
An estimated operating margin of about 13% is anticipated for the third quarter.
