Delta, WK Kellogg and Tesla rise premarket; Embraer falls

Investing.com -- U.S. stock futures slipped lower Thursday, handing back some of the previous session’s gains as investors assessed President Donald Trump’s new tariff announcements.

Here are some of the biggest premarket U.S. stock movers today:

  • Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) stock rose 9.7% after the carrier restored its previously-withdrawn full-year guidance, citing "confidence in the business" after it posted record revenue in its June quarter.

  • Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock rose 0.8% after the AI-darling became the first company to be valued at $4 trillion briefly on Wednesday.
  • Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE:TSM) stock rose 1.2% after the world’s largest contract chipmaker posted a 39% jump in second-quarter sales, surpassing market expectations amid strong global demand for AI chips.

  • WK Kellogg (NYSE:KLG) stock surged over 50% after the WSJ reported that family-owned Italian candy group Ferrero is closing in on a roughly $3 billion deal to buy the cereal maker.

  • Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) stock rose 1.1% after the EV manufacturer announced it will hold its annual shareholder meeting on November 6.

  • Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) stock rose 0.2% after the entertainment giant said it has signed a content agreement with British broadcaster ITV (LON:ITV) allowing both to carry a selection of each other’s shows on their respective streaming platforms.

  • Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ:ULTA) stock will be in the spotlight after Sky News reported that the U.S. cosmetics retailer is on the verge of a deal to buy British high street chain Space NK.

  • Embraer (NYSE:ERJ)ADRs fell 6.5% with the Brazilian aerospace company hit by President Donald Trump’s threat to impose 50% tariffs on goods from the South American country.

  • Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) stock rose 1.8% after Piper Sandler upgraded its stance on the software company to “overweight” from “neutral”, highlighting increased enterprise momentum that could add another growth layer.
