Investing.com -- Oracle Corp. is looking to borrow $15 billion from the U.S. investment-grade bond market on Wednesday, according to Bloomberg News, which cited people familiar with the matter.

The software maker plans to sell debt in up to seven parts, including a rare 40-year bond. Initial price discussions for the 40-year portion are around 1.65 percentage points above similarly dated Treasuries, according to the sources who asked not to be identified as they were discussing private details.

This marks Oracle’s first debt sale since January.
