Investing.com-- ServiceNow Inc (NYSE:NOW) is in advanced talks to acquire five-year-old security startup Veza for more than $1 billion, The Information reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the discussions.
Veza offers identity-security software that helps enterprises track and control which users -- including AI agents -- have access to sensitive corporate or customer data, and what actions they can take with it.
The move would bolster ServiceNow’s push into security and AI-powered enterprise services, building on earlier deals such as its acquisition of the AI-assistant firm Moveworks earlier this year, the report said.
The potential deal follows a recent funding round in which Veza was valued at about $808 million, reflecting strong investor interest in its identity-first security platform as concerns grow over AI-driven cyber risks, according to the report.
