CPI and jobs data, not Jackson Hole, will determine the Fed’s course
Investing.com-- Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) said on Thursday that it has launched a new version of the Cybertruck in the U.S. with a longer range and higher price, the company’s website showed.
The new, “Long Range” variant, is the cheapest of the three Cybertruck models sold by Tesla, at $69,990. But the model still costs nearly $10,000 more than the older rear-wheel drive Cybertruck.
The model features a single-motor rear-wheel drive and has 100 miles of additional range- 350 miles- from the old rear-wheel drive model sold by Tesla. It holds the longest range among all the Cybertruck models.
But the new variant features slightly lesser suspension and fewer features than the other Cybertruck models.
The Cybertruck is among Tesla’s worst-selling models, and has been plagued by quality control issues and recalls since a tumultuous launch in late-2023.
U.S. safety regulators had in March recalled virtually all Cybertrucks sold in the U.S.- its eighth recall- on quality concerns over the vehicle’s exterior panelling.
