Tonix Pharmaceuticals stock halted ahead of FDA approval news
Investing.com-- Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk said on Tuesday that public rides for the electric vehicle maker’s robotaxis could tentatively begin later in June in Austin, Texas, and that Tesla’s other cars will also begin self-delivery later in the month.
Musk, when asked about when public rides for the robotaxis would open, said “tentatively, June 22,” in a post on X.
“We are being super paranoid about safety, so the date could shift. First Tesla that drives itself from factory end of line all the way to a customer house is June 28,” Musk said.
Musk had earlier on Tuesday shared a video on X showing Tesla was testing driverless vehicles on Austin roads without a human supervisor at the wheel. Testing of Tesla’s full self driving technology currently appear to involve the Model Y, not the CyberCab robotaxi unveiled by the EV maker last year.
