Stock market today: S&P 500 rides Apple-led tech rally to close higher

AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) fell 4% following the release of second quarter results and guidance. AMD reported Q2 EPS of $0.48, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.69 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.41 billion.
Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) fell 15% following softer than expected quarterly figures. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.96 billion.
Snap (SNAP) fell after 14% its quarterly print disappointed investors. Snap reported Q2 EPS of ($0.16), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.15)
Astera Labs (ALAB) rose 9% after beating consensus estimates. Astera Labs, Inc. sees Q3 2025 EPS of $0.38-$0.39, versus the consensus of $0.34.
Upstart Holdings (NASDAQ:UPST) fell 12% despite quarterly results that beat estimates. Upstart Holdings sees Q3 2025 revenue of $280 million, versus the consensus of $268.7 million.
Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET) rose 12% after topping estimates on the top and bottom line. Revenue was $2.205 billion, an increase of 10.0% compared to the first quarter of 2025, and an increase of 30.4% from the second quarter of 2024.
Match Group (NASDAQ:MTCH) rose 10% after issuing stronger than expected guidance. Match Group sees Q3 2025 revenue of $910-920 million, versus the consensus of $889.8 million.
Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ:SWKS) rose 9% after announcing solid quarterly results. Revenue for the quarter came in at $965 million versus the consensus estimate of $940.85 million.
