Asia Insurance PLC. provides non-life insurance products and services in Bangladesh. It operates through five segments: Fire, Marine, Marine-Hull, Motor, and Miscellaneous. The company offers fire insurance, including fire and allied perils, industrial all risks, machinery breakdown and business interruption, property all risks, power plant operational package, and comprehensive machinery insurance products; marine insurance, such as marine cargo and hull, and goods in transit insurance products; aviation insurance; and motor insurance, including private and commercial vehicle, motorcycle, and motor transit insurance products. It also provides engineering insurance comprising contractors and erection all risks, boiler and pressure vessel, machinery breakdown, deterioration of stock, contractors plant and machinery, and electrical equipment insurance products; and money insurance, such as cash in transit and safe, cash on counter, cash in ATM risk, bank lockers, fidelity guarantee, and bankers blanket bond insurance products. In addition, the company offers industrial category insurance, including burglary and house breaking, workmen’s compensation, and peoples personal accident insurance products, as well as public, product, and employers’ liability insurance products; and overseas medi-claim, professional indemnity, hotel owners all risks, personal accident, and other all risks insurances. Asia Insurance PLC. was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
